The Night Road · The Vigil
The fight was always inside
The Puranas put the war outside so you could see it. Tonight you meet the enemies the shastra names — kama, krodha, lobha, wearing the shapes the old stories gave them. Move with ◀ ▶, strike with the staff, loose viveka arrows, raise the lamp to guard. The camps between fights forge arrows from right answers: what the head learns, the hands carry.
…
Turn your phone sideways — the fight is wide.
How to stand the Vigil
Move. Tap-and-hold the pads, or hold ← →. Footwork wins fights that weapons lose.
Staff. Close range. Camps can temper it to hit harder.
Viveka arrow. Long range, few in the quiver. Right answers at the camps forge more — what the head learns, the hands carry.
Guard. Raise the lamp: any blow becomes 3 prana instead of its full price. A steady guard staggers a charging enemy.
Know the enemy. Every demon here is one of your own six — desire, anger, greed, delusion, pride, envy — wearing the shape the old stories gave it. Fell one and it shows you where its story is written. Watch each one: they all have a tell.
You fall at a round, you resume at that round. Fell all six across your nights and the Root herself waits — no weapon touches her, only what you know. Nothing here bleeds, and nothing leaves this device.
Keys: ◀ ▶ move · X staff · Z arrow · ↓ guard. Shadows burst to sparks — nothing here bleeds. Every fallen enemy shows where its story is written. If the lamp goes out: lamps do that. We light them again. Fell all six across your nights, and the Root herself will wait at the end — no weapon touches her, only what you know.
